Managers Press Conference – Chelsea

Manchester United manager David Moyes sat with the press once again this afternoon at the clubs AON Training Complex in Carrington ahead of the Barclays Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon. United went back to winning ways last weekend beating Swansea City 2-0 in the Premier League, after the same club knocked them out of the FA Cup the weekend before. United could do with a win, but that rests on whether key players will be fit for the match.

Adnan Januzaj the “Baddest Guy ever liveth” to the rescue. Again!

Feeling excited after what would have been a routine win until six months ago speaks volume of how far United have fallen this season, for a 2-0 win over Swansea isn’t anybody’s idea of heroics nor would the scoreline, in normal circumstances, be something to remember and behold for too long.

United’s midfield targets. Fantasy or reality?


It should have been a fresh, positive, start to the new year. It was, in many ways, a stale, uninspired return to the past, with United struggling to find their way around Spurs and Wayne Rooney deployed in central midfield for the last quarter of the game in what was, effectively, one last adventurous, yet futile, roll of the dice.

Full Back, The Real Problem?

It has been well documented United need new reinforcements in January to challenge for the Premier League with central midfield highlighted as a problem area. They have been linked with the likes of Ross Barkley and Koke of Atletico Madrid but another problem area is the full back position with the ageing Patrice Evra having too many poor displays and Chris Smalling having to fill in for injury prone Rafael.
